CMN, founded in 1945, has long expertise in military and commercial projects, and has launched 849 vessels. It has 420 employees in an area of 110,000 m² with 48,000 m² under cover, including halls of 80.5 and 160 meters. It has 3,500-tonne ship lift capacity. CMN entered yacht building in 1960, and is noted for its current series of 197-foot "Line 60" yachts designed by CMN in collaboration with Andrew Winch Designs. CMN has launched two in the series during 2009, Slipstream and Cloud 9, and has another 60m under construction. Slipstream has received the Nymphenburg prize of Design at the Monaco Yacht Show, the International Superyacht Society awards for the best Motor-Yacht of 40-65m range and for the best interior for all categories. CMN is part of the newly formed Abu Dhabi Mar Group.
